As a student, I attended a magnet elementary school and was in the APS gifted program up until high school when I switched to honors and AP classes. I'm currently a Junior in High School with a 4.25 GPA. I've taken a variety of extra courses in science as math as I'm working to go major in biochemistry and get into medical school.
Experience
My Qualifications in Math: In middle school, I took accelerated 7th and 8th-grade math and took Algebra 1, a high school course, in 8th grade. In high school, I took Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2 and Trigonometry, and I'm currently taking AP Calculus AB. My Qualifications in Science: My gifted science teacher in middle school was a Ph.D. toxicologist. I've taken Analytical Biology and Chemistry, as well as Anatomy and Physiology. I'm currently taking AP Chemistry and a Pre-Medicine class at the Career Enrichment Center. My Qualifications in English: I've taken gifted language arts and creative writing in middle school. In High school, I've taken Honors English 9 and 10. I'm currently taking AP English Language and Composition. My Qualifications in History: I've taken middle school World History, New Mexico History, and United States History. In high school, I've taken New Mexico History and AP World History. I'm currently taking AP United States History.

Hobbies
I love music, I play the guitar, clarinet, and the bagpipes. I've played clarinet for my middle and high school symphonic and pep bands. As well as for the Albuquerque Youth Symphony. Outside of school, my hobbies consist of writing and martial arts. I'm in an all women's Muay Thai kickboxing class and have been for over a year now. I write short stories and poetry, which I've submitted to my school newspaper and literary magazine as well as online writing communities. Academia is very important to me, and I'm proud in my achievements and my recognition. I'm a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, an invite-only membership program for the academically successful, founded by Claes Nobel. Claes Nobel is also the founder of the Nobel Prize. I'm also a member of my school's chapter of the National Honor society. There's nowhere else on my profile to put this information, but I will not tutor at my house or the house of a client. I prefer to meet in public places, like libraries and coffee shops.
